Furling Genoa Cover
The genoa cover (sock) protects the sail from UV rays and dirt. It is placed over the furled genoa and hoisted with the spinnaker halyard.
It has 2 to 3 tightening points, depending on the length, to secure the excess fabric of the sock and tighten the genoa securely. This is done by pulling the straps at the bottom of the cover. The strap is attached to an elastic band approximately every 70 to 90 cm, which folds the sock back.
It is lined with PVC from the bottom to the clew to minimize chafing on the sheets.
