Custom-made Lazybag - Practical Protection
The Lazybag is a large bag used to protect the full-batten mainsail from UV rays and dirt.
Custom-made and robust, it is made of 300g acrylic fabric available in several colors.
It is necessary to fill out the measurement form to ensure a perfect fit. Measurement form
It is used with Lazy Jacks. We usually provide 3 Lazy Jack attachment points per side for mainsail foot lengths up to 4.00m, and 4 attachment points for lengths beyond that. If you require a different configuration, please specify this.
It is made in one piece: it remains in place on the boom while sailing.
The front section of the lazybag is secured with nylon clips on the front face of the mast.
The lower section has a luff rope attached to its base for threading through the boom. If you have a full mainsail, the two sections of the lazybag are connected by a straight-grain strip that will be threaded through the boom along with the mainsail. Please specify this in your order notes. Sections without luff ropes are located at the bottom to allow the reefing lines to pass through.
The port and starboard sections are connected at the top by a heavy-duty zipper. Optionally, it can be offset on one of the sections.
The lazybag is PVC lined at the front and back for better protection.
The lead time is 3 weeks.
To find out the price, simply measure the foot of your mainsail and choose from the list. The lazy bag will be longer depending on the measurements provided.
